Really happy to have found this beautiful hike. Only an hour away from Toronto, we were definitely able to find a moderately difficult hike ( tons of uphill and downhills) and fairly quiet. Reminded me of a “bootleg” peek -a-boo trail in Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. The hike takes around 4 hours ( with occasional breaks for doggie photos) but requires some decent hiking shoes to make sure you can climb the steep uphills.

The trail is great for off leash with doggos since it is quite quiet but also cause there are tons of streams with very clear water.

In general, definitely recommend this hike.

Grand Canyon

2019 - Took a trip to visit Zion National Park and ended visiting 4 national parks. Although I didn’t get to do very much ( hike or camp) I really loved Grand Canyon. I’ve seen many pictures and thought I’d be desensitized to the grandeur and awe of it all. Especially after how many people told me it’d be worth it. But there’s something always so amazing about how nature can just take your breath away. When I first walked up to the edge of the canyon.. I was like okay, that looks hella deep. But as I continued to look around, I couldn’t see the end - I couldn’t see just how deep and how far this canyon was. That was when it really hit me and it really took my breath away.

I hope to one day return and do the hike to the bottom and back up.
